At Pembrokeshire Yacht Sales we charge a standard % fee for marketing and man-
aging the sale of your vessel.
There is a set fee for vessels under £12,500.00.
We DO NOT charge VAT on this service.
Advertising
At Pembrokeshire Yacht Sales we understand that being savvy on the world wide web is key to getting your vessel in front of as many potential buyers as possible.
As well as our easy to navigate website, that is user friendly on phone, pad or computer, we also advertise on the major boat sales portals.
This combined with our digital exposure means your vessel will appear on the major portals with over 600K visitors per month.
Viewings
Making an Offer & Paying Deposits
Once an offer has been accepted we require a 10% Deposit. The money is held in a Client Account.
The deposit ensures no further viewings or negotiations happen whilst we arrange inspections, surveys or sea trials. We facilitate any lifts & holds and co-ordinate with the Surveyor you have chosen. All the fiddly stuff!
Preparing Your Vessel for Sale
We have top tips for you to help you prepare your boat for launch on the market.
If you are short on time, or live a distance from your vessel we offer Boat Cleaning and Valeting services to ensure all our vessels are ship shape and shiny to view.
Valeting
Covers a full clean from bow to stern and includes:
- Lifting the soles of the boat and a clean of the bilges
- Clean of the engine bay surround
- Vacuum, clean and polish throughout
- Cooker cleaned inside and out
Deck Wash
A straight forward power wash , or a steam clean, add in a chrome polish.
We can get the decks and cockpit looking Ship Shape and Bristol Fashion.
Hull & Canvas
When your boat is next out of the water we can cutback and Marine UV polish the hull from the waterline to toe rail.
This is a good time to clean and treat the canvas work too.
