The Westerly Corsair is a 36-foot center-cockpit fin-keel cruiser designed by Ed Dubois. Built to high British standards, it offers exceptional offshore seaworthiness, a spacious eight-berth interior layout with two private cabins and heads. Fair Encounter of Anglesey underwent an extensive refurbishment from 2020 to 2023. Virtually every part of the vessel has been removed, refurbished or replaced. There is a wealth of paperwork that documents the works carried out. Some headlines are the upgraded Yanmar engine and new standing rigging. Too much to list here! The result is a semi-custom go anywhere vessel. This vessel really needs to be viewed to gain an insight into the excellent condition. She is immaculate! It has been a labour of love to get Fair Encounter of Anglesey to her current condition as a true blue water boat. We have enjoyed several extended cruises over the last 4 seasons. Her seaworthiness is a standout feature of her design. She has performed well and kept us safe in all conditions.
